A connected storehouse beside the Kurashiki River has been converted into galleries for pottery, textiles, woodwork and baskets rooted in everyday life. Its white walls and black tiles are part of the historic streetscape. Together, the building and collection explain the relationship between the Mingei movement and preservation in Kurashiki.
